Wouldn't it be great if someone had written a free book about Ubuntu that was short enough to read in one sitting, so you wouldn't have to ask beginner's questions, simple enough to understand without a computer science degree and extensive enough to answer pretty much any basic question about the OS so that you can concentrate on the really fun stuff now you have a clear understanding of the underpinnings?
Wouldn't it be great if that book were written by someone who actually had a solid background in computer literature and was focused upon and knowledgeable about Linux in general?
Wouldn't it be great if it took you all the way through from installation to advanced topics like software installation and security?
