Notable 3rd Party Additions For Your Eeebuntu Install
Dropbox is a file synchronisation system created by Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowski, designed to make syncing of documents between networked computers as intuitive and unobtrusive as possible.

How It Works
Dropbox creates a special directory in your home folder which is linked to your Dropbox account and continually syncs to an encrypted storage area hosted on Amazon S3. Any changes made to the files are automatically mirrored online. If you have Dropbox installed on more than one computer, all your directories are kept in sync as long as you have a network connection.
What You Get
Dropbox is free to install on as many machines as you want and offers 2GB of free storage for life. You can purchase a premium account and upgrade to 50GB of storage.
In addition to file syncing, you can log in to a web client and access and download all of your files from a web browser.
You can create public links to files for anyone to download.
You can create shared folders for other Dropbox users to access.
You can use the web client to restore deleted or previous versions of files.
Why It's Eeebuntu Savvy
Dropbox works inside Nautilus and Gnome and is as intuitive as Eeebuntu should be. Once you have set it up and configured it, you can just leave it running in the background mirroring all your documents securely online. For those who use a netbook in addition to a desktop or big laptop, Dropbox makes keeping your documents in sync simple.
Gotchas
Dropbox requires Nautilus to function. If you have removed it from Eeebuntu it won't work.
Dropbox is not a backup system, per se. Some people copy files into the Dropbox directory and complain about the duplicates taking up space, or delete files from the Dropbox directory and are surprised to find them gone on other linked machines. Once you understand the Dropbox paradigm - think of it as one directory synced across several machines and mirrored in the cloud - then you will get the most benefit from it.
